Why do centrifugal bottles have round bottom and pointed bottom? What’s the difference between these two centrifugal bottles? Today’s labio editor will tell you!

Centrifugal bottles with sharp bottoms can be better separated for liquids with few samples. The upper liquid is easier to be separated by straws. Centrifugal bottles with round bottoms have a large bottom area. If the amount of sample liquid is small, it is not convenient to separate. If the amount is large, it is more convenient to use those with round bottoms. In addition, when vacuuming and concentrating samples, we will also choose a pointed bottom centrifuge bottle, otherwise it will not be easy to re dissolve.

The plastic centrifuge bottles we produce are made of imported medical grade polypropylene, and the tube covers are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Compared with the PE, PC and PP materials commonly used in ordinary plastic bottles, the centrifuge bottles made of PP materials have better performance in high temperature and high pressure resistance, are flat and even in translucent shape, and can be used after disinfection and sterilization.

Centrifugal bottles are equipped with caps, which have two functions:

1. Prevent leakage of sample solution

2. Prevent volatilization of sample solution
