Permeable cell culture experts: Cell Culture Insert

Cell Culture Insert, also called permeable supports, as the name suggests, are culture insert used for experiments related to penetration function. There is a permeable membrane at the bottom of the culture insert with micropores of different sizes. The rest of the cup is made of the same material as an ordinary orifice plate.

Cell culture insert are commonly used in cell experiments, such as co-culture experiments, chemotaxis experiments, tumor cell migration experiments, tumor cell invasion, and cell transport.

Among them, permeable supports can effectively improve the culture of polar cells because these supports allow cells to secrete and absorb molecules from their basal and apical surfaces, thereby metabolizing in a more natural way and simulating the in vivo environment to culture certain some special cell lines.

According to different plates, culture insert can be divided into 6-well, 12-well, and 24-well.

According to the different pore diameters, they are divided into 0.4μm, 3μm, 5μm and 8μm from small pore diameter to large pore diameter.

Feature:

• Innovative edge design for easy sample addition

• PC membrane: low adsorption rate, reducing the loss of small molecular proteins and other compounds

• PET film has excellent transparency and better optical clarity, making it easier to observe cell status

• Compatible with most fixation and staining solvents

• Available in a variety of sizes, can be used with 6-well, 12-well, 24-well culture plates and 100mm dishes
