Traditional pipette cleaning method:

Rinse with tap water and then soak with chromic acid washing solution. The specific operation methods are as follows:

(1) Use your right hand to hold the upper end of the pipette at a proper position, the index finger is close to the upper mouth of the pipette, the middle finger and ring finger open and hold the outside of the pipette, the thumb is held at the middle position between the middle finger and ring finger on the inside of the pipette, and the little finger naturally relaxes;

(2) Take the ear wash ball with the left hand, with the sharp mouth downward, exhaust the air in the ball, insert the tip of the ear suction ball into or close to the upper mouth of the pipette, and be careful not to leak air. Slowly loosen the finger of your left hand, slowly suck the detergent into the tube until it is above the scale line, remove the ear ball, quickly block the upper mouth of the tube with your right index finger, and then put the detergent back into the original bottle after a while;

(3) Rinse the inner and outer walls of the pipette with tap water without water drops, and then wash it with distilled water for three times, and control the dry water for standby;

Cleaning method according to pollution degree:

(1) Direct cleaning with distilled water: directly put the glass pipette into distilled water for cleaning or rinsing, only ordinary dust can be washed.

(2) Detergent cleaning: alkaline solution has strong corrosive effect on the glass, and can only be cleaned with neutral detergent. Clean or brush the glass pipette with water containing detergent, and then rinse with distilled water, which is applicable to general oil stain cleaning.

(3) Chromic acid lotion: use chromic acid lotion or special lotion to soak and then rinse with distilled water for stubborn stains.
